About the Certification Program
The asthma & allergy friendly™ Certification Program, administered by the Asthma Society of Canada in partnership with the international research organization Allergy Standards Limited (ASL), is an independent program created to scientifically test and identify consumer products that are more suitable for people with asthma and allergies.

Christine Hampson Ph.D Program Director
Christine Hampson is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Asthma Society of Canada.
In 1997, Christine obtained a Ph.D in Health Geography at McMaster University. Christine has an extensive background in post secondary education, political organization and government relations and has worked in government at both the federal and provincial levels. In November 2007, Christine joined the Asthma Society of Canada.

Andrea Richardson Program Manager
Andrea originally came from a journalism and PR background, however her post-college experience varied from time in corporate environments, different sectors of the entertainment industry to a broad range of sales and marketing roles.
During an extended time in London her positions included working as a Marketing Assistant within the music industry. After a move back to Dublin she joined the ASL team, where she has continued to expand her experience and training in marketing and brand management.
Andrea is responsible for the day to day management of the asthma & allergy friendly™ Canada Certification Program, including program brand management and key account management.
