Certification Standards

The asthma & allergy friendly™ Certification Standards support the overall concept of an allergen avoidance plan for people with asthma and allergies.

The proprietary series of Certification Standards, are developed by Allergy Standards Limited (ASL) and adopted by the Asthma Society of Canada (ASC) after a review and agreement by an independant Medical Review Panel.

The number of Certification Standards continues to grow in order to encompass a wide range of products recommended by leading medical experts and healthcare organizations. The asthma & allergy friendly™ Certification Program reserves the right to regularly review and update its standards to incorporate advances in available technology and changes in the standards of care.
